Tea is such a lovely occasion, I really think people should take time to enjoy it more often. I held a non-traditional after supper tea and it turned out to be quite nice. Hannah, my sister and resident chef in training, created deliciously posh scones with cream, fruit salad, cucumber salad, cinnamon and currant tarts, several flavors of mini muffins, cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, dark chocolate cake and freshly brewed pot after pot of 5 different types of tea- from English Breakfast to white monsoon herb. We listened to the Shins, Shane and Shane and the new Viva la Vida from Coldplay.
